Gujarat RERA plans to eliminate the requirement for developer certification starting from the June quarter.
On May 21, 2024, Gujarat RERA made a big change that helped real estate developers in the state. Before, developers had to give lots of different certificates, like ones from architects, engineers, and accountants, and also show progress reports every three months. The developers’ group asked for this rule to be changed because it was a hassle and cost them money. So, Gujarat RERA agreed and said developers don’t need to give those certificates anymore, starting from the next three months. They also made a new website to give more details about projects.
